Es curioso, o no tanto, cómo las dos grandes apenas optan a premios “de peso”. La verdad es que yo ya no leo nada de MARVEL ni DC salvo una de las nominadas a Mejor Serie, Daredevil, porque soy fan del personaje y tengo la colección completa en castellano y de DC sólo leo Hellblazer que es una serie que terminó hace ya tiempo y si queremos podemos decir que no es DC.

Aprovecho y os comento qué leo actualmente, series que sigo más bien, porque de vez en cuando pillo algún número único de algo que me llame la atención.

  • Saga, de Brian K. Vaughan y Fiona Staples.
  • Este del Oeste, Jonathan Hickman y Nick Dragotta.
  • Ascender y Descender (finalizada), de Jeff Lemire y Dustin Nguyen.
  • Lazarus, Greg Rucka y Michael Lark.
  • Paper Girl, de Brian K. Vaughan y Cliff Chiang.
  • Gideon Falls, de Jeff Lemire y Andrea Sorrentino.
  • Rumble, de John Arcudi (Acabo de empezarlo, así que no sé si meterlo aquí).

Y, por supuestísimo, todo lo referente al Mignolaverso: Hellboy, Joe Golem, Bogavante Jonhson, Edward Grey, AIDP, Baltimore, etc.

Y Daredevil que la sigo por el personaje pero que hace tiempo que ya no me atrae tanto porque los supes pierden gracia.

De lo publicado por DC y MARVEL en los últimos años lo único que he leído es Ojo de Halcón de Fraction y Aja. Que no está mal, no te va a romper ningún esquema pero tiene algún número que en narrativa y composición es realmente bueno. En los mentideros recomiendan mucho los números de La Visión (no sé si como miniserie o en la etapa regular) escritos por Tom King.

Yo nunca he sido demasiado constante leyendo cómics de superhéroes, la verdad. Sí que reconozco que alguno de los tebeos que más me han gustado se han hecho bajo ese marco, como los números de Batman de Frank Miller. También recuerdo con cariño números de la Patrulla-X, como los que tengo de la Biblioteca Marvel que empieza desde el Giant-Size y cubre la etapa Claremont y Byrne o los Nuevos Mutantes de Morrison. Al final, todo pasa porque cojan los lápices gente con talento y ganas de hacer una buena etapa.

Justo a primeros de mes compré Ascender, me gustaron tanto las acuarelas de Nguyen que en cuanto acabé el tomo me fui a por el primero de Descender que todavía no he tocado.

Por decir algo diferente a la lista que metes, donde hay mucho bueno, he empezado a leer 20 Century Boys! que es un manga. No suelo leer tebeo japonés, pero siempre he tenido esta obra en el radar. De momento llevo un tomo y me ha gustado, sobre todo por cómo relata la visión que tuvo Japón de los hechos que marcaron el final del sXX.
